Here's a TIP: We learnt this years ago, but no one seems to have grasped the idea!
Pay your machine users a bonus every week, does not have to be a high amount say £10. For this they have to keep it clean, do their daily machine checks, change the brushes and squeegee rubbers etc, do a machine report each time they go to use it. If they don't, they lose their bonus for that week and so do all the other users. They will soon stop abusing your expensive capital equipment and you will save huge amounts of unecessary call outs, damaged parts replaced etc and the machine will work longer, better and with less down time. The savings can be in the thousands every year, (depending on your facility, usage and amount of operators.) We know, we have seen this in operation and it really does work.
